"Dear Andy,

Here are the instructions for getting in to Frank's apartment...

Key#1- Teeth up

-go up the stoop. This key is for the 1st door (upper keyhole),

lower keyhole is not in use.

Turn it to the left.

Now you are in the vestibule.

-Keys 1,2 & 3 are used teeth up

Key #2- This is the Medeco

-use it for the top lock

-turn it to the left.

(If there is no sound, it means someone forgot to lock this from the inside)

Key #3- This is for the lower lock on the same door.

-Turn it to the left and push door open

-sometimes with key #3, after you put key in all the way, you have to pull it out just a hair or jiggle it a little and then turn to the left. Always use an easy touch with key #3! Don't force.

Now you are in the house.

Double lock that upperlock.

Go upstairs 1 flight to apt. 2D. Carla's last name is Smith

Key#4- with teeth facing down, turn to left.

Key#5- with teeth facing up, turn to left.

Key#6- with teeth facing down, turn to right.

 

When leaving, turn keys 4 + 5 to the right to double lock the door.

Downstairs: turn key #2, the Medeco, to right, to doublelock."
