Company NameBeginning in 1985, and starting out as a lock company selling, installing and servicing locks, we would ask our customers what kind of lock they wanted. Again and again the response was almost the same "Just put in a good strong lock.", "I want a good strong lock!", or "Please install a good strong lock." So it follows we named our company the "Goodstrong® Lock Company". Later that year we incorporated. In 1986, we recognized our customers' needs for additional security and began offering alarm systems. In 1989 we changed our name by adding "& Alarm" to it. The requests that were only for a "good strong lock" are now are for a "good strong lock and alarm."
